If you read the syllabus, it says that I blog in spurts. I’ve been blogging on and off since 2004. In August 2012, I stopped blogging because I started a podcast. The podcast was my outlet.

Now, however, I feel more of a need to write again. I’m getting that itch. The podcast is still happening, and I’d appreciate your patronage, if only for one episode.

In addition, I’m going to be a father in 6 months, so that will likely occupy my time in the future as well. I’m not sure how long I’ll be blogging on.

When last I blogged, I was blogging in a self-hosted Wordpress installation. I host several sites on my server, many of which use Wordpress, so I’m not saying goodbye to Wordpress all together. Tumblr just makes things a little easier, and I’m hoping that it will motivate me to write more.

It’s funny to think of the path this blog has taken. It started in Xanga, then moved to a self-hosted Wordpress site, then to Tumblr, back to Wordpress, then back to Tumblr. One of these days, I’m going to settle down.

Well, now that I’m back on Tumblr, I think it’s fitting that I go ahead and answer the the tumblrbot’s question. Stay tuned.
